• Beth spoke on a panel at the NeuroGateways Symposium, hosted by UAB’s Center for Neuroengineering & Brain-Computer Interfaces.

• Ayesha joined the lab

• The lab’s two-photon system was finally set up on May 1st!

• Brookelynn received a travel award from the Psychology department for the Alabama Psychological Association conference

June

• Meso’s Summer Research Academy started

• Brookelynn presented her first poster from the lab at the UAB NEURAL Conference

• One of Beth’s first-author postdoctoral papers was accepted for publication

• Meso presented her research at the UAB EXPO Symposium

• The lab received notification that Beth received the Young Investigator Award from the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation

• The lab successfully escaped from an Escape Room together as part of Meso’s send-off for her study abroad in Switzerland
